Probably the worst food in the Allgäu ... The bistecca was terrible. The ravioli with butter and sage were dry and definitely bought ready ...

We were in Ottobeuren for the first time and were lucky enough to come across this nice restaurant. We were very satisfied. Great food freshly prepared. Price performance the hammer for 2 people 3 courses with good wine less than 50 euros. Highly recommended. Service was good and attentive.

Last night we arrived late from Bologna in Italy. Our hotel closed their kitchen, but Trattoria Al Cavenon made an exception and reopened for my wife, son and me. We had an amazing Lasagne. A cozy restaurant with a various menu. Very sweet people! Thank you so much for having your heart at the right place!

A great restaurant. The food is delicious. The dishes are fresh and cooked with high quality ingredients, you can taste that. In addition, it doesn't take long to receive your order. The menu offers Italian specialties and is straightforward. Pizzas are not offered there. Just like the wine on tap. The owners are very friendly and treat their guests like a family. The location, right on the market square, is great. If you sit outside you have a great view of the basilica. If you want to treat yourself to something, this is the place to come. The price-performance ratio is very fair. The restaurant has a few steps, but no ramp at the entrance. This makes it a bit more difficult to reach with a wheelchair, but the staff are happy to lend a hand and it is also a great choice for wheelchair users.

Best Italian restaurant in the area with wood-burning grill. Excellent quality of meat and fish. pasta al dente. very fresh appetizers. (Here there is no oroprio pizza for this only !!!!!) It really seems to be in Italy the environment remembers the venues in the Veneto region where the owners come from (among other very nice ones). Friendly and always available staff. If you pass by here give us a jump I recommend it.

I always like to come back to eat here and let myself be pampered with culinary delights and by the friendly staff. We are always happy to respond to special requests. You can taste that it is made with love! My absolute favorite restaurant!

We always like to come here for dinner during the stand concert on Sundays and are completely satisfied every time. By the way, it is advisable to reserve as the terrace is regularly full on Sundays. The cuisine is excellent and the service is extremely friendly and very helpful.

Even if the table in the middle of the market square looked very promising in mega weather, the evening was spoiled by the tasteless and overpriced food. I give the two stars for the great location.

Great Italian ... we conjured up a typical Italian meal off the menu ... it was fantastic, as was the Bolognese of our little ones!

Kudos to the kitchen and the team! Even when there is a lot going on, everyone stays super friendly and relaxed. The food is always delicious and you can tell that fresh ingredients are used. There is also something for vegans and vegetarians, and special requests (such as gluten-free) are always welcome. Price-performance ratio is perfect, we like to come here again and again and feel very comfortable in this warm atmosphere.

Small portions, food was only served lukewarm. Very long waiting times. Price / performance ratio does not fit. The too few waiters tried hard, but overwhelmed.

AlCanevon and the tavern on the market offer a pick-up service! Gockel and Italian food of the usual quality!

A lovely restaurant with great friendly service the local house red wine was chilled and very nice. The food was excellent and cooked on an open fire and embers.

I really like the minestrone. Very pleasant outside and inside dining. Eaten here several times. It was good each time.

Internal construction is not very demanding, it could also be cleaner. Wait staff was not polite. My drink was delicious, but it was supposed to be a cocktail. There was no alcohol in it. My daughter's drink was sour. The salad was good, but the fish platter was surprisingly small. The taste was ok. All in all, I am not satisfied with the job, cannot recommend it to others.
